 so i had my first fill today, didn't even feel the needle go in!!! it was great! so i now have 2.5cc's in my 10 cc band, i am hoping this will give me a little more restriction then i have had. I was told that it can take up to 2 weeks b4 i even feel a difference, so let's see....

So i am 5 weeks post op and i am in need of a fill. I can eat allot more then i should and i haven't lost any weight. Before you start to think i am back to old habits i have to say that i go to the gym at least 4 times a week, and i am still not shedding any weight. so i have to say at this point i am a little dissapointed and wondering if i should have had the other surgery :(

OK it has been 10 days since the surgery and i am struggling with the liquid diet. i find that i am getting very hungry and i am so bored of these protein shakes.... i want regular food.... agh!!!! i was so excited about this procedure that i didn't stop and think about how difficult these next few weeks will be.. anyone else having this problem????

Hello All, My story is basically like everyone else that is overweight. The struggle started at a young age, I was up and down, diet after diet. Then i finally decided to take this step. My process began on 4-22-08. My first meeting with Dr. Geiss was great. He was very helpful, his staff  was just as great. I would call a million times and they would help me as much as they could. I was able to fit all of my appoinments fairly quick. I got my surgery date on 5/23/08, and on 6/2/08 i got the approval! Such a weight lifted off of my shoulders knowing that i was approved. To me that was the hardest part out of everything so far lol. So here i am with 26 days until the big day (yes i have a count down on my calendar) i am anxious and extremly  ready to take this journey.......Wish Me Luck!!!
