Lora, I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had done this several years ago. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.

Best wishes as you start your journey into a healthier life. I hope all goes well for you and that you have a problem free recovery. My husband and I BOTH had wls in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 270 lbs. IT CAN WORK IF YOU WORK WITH IT!!!!
