I had Gastric Bypass surgery in March of 2005.  I weighed 280 pounds before the surgery, and currently weigh 183 pounds.  I lost down to 170 pounds at my maximum weight loss, but have gained some of the weight back.  My weight tends to fluctuate between 170 and about 185 pounds, depending on the time of year.  I seem to gain weight in the winter, and lose it in the Summer.  I never got down to my goal weight, so I'm still struggling to get it back down.  For now, I would like to get it back down to 170, and when I achieve that, I'd like to try to get down to about 150.  I will continue to set other goals, after I achieve the above mentioned ones.    I have a lot of health problems, a main one being Severe Narcolepsy, and I stay tired and sleepy, which does not help weight loss at all.  I also have a myriad of other medical conditions which take a toll on my body and everything else, but I realize that I am not getting any younger, and the older I get, regardless of having had WLS, the harder my weight will be to control.  I don't have a drivers license and have never driven or had a car, so I walk to work, and always have.  I will continue to update when time allows, and am glad to have stumbled upon this site.  I'm hoping the support, words of advice and encouragement here, will help me along the way.  Thanks to you all, for sharing little bits and pieces of your lives.  It truly inspires people.  :)
