After seeing my husband lose 160 after his surgery and have minimal problems, I now will be having the surgery done. I remember the things that I hope will help me, after seeing him go thru many changes. The first thing I remember is him wanting to continue to go out to eat, like usual. We'd sit in a restaurant and he'd have the saddest face imaginable (almost embarrassing) look on his face, like his best friend had died, and actually he was just in a coma for a while.
Now I see this skinny man, with his high blood pressure gone, and his achy knees not an issue and I marvel at what he can eat at certain times and what he can't, and how that shifts and changes. He now doesn't feel a loss, when going out to a restaurant, he knows when to stop when the warning signals arise and he enjoys what he can eat, when he can eat it.
Hopefully you and I will have just as much success in all ways!
