"Have met Dr. Anez just once, but my first impression of him was very positive. He exuded competence and confidence and I felt that it was real. He was softspoken. He explained the Roux en y procedure very clearly. He gave me a very helpful booklet on the surgery with information on what to expect, websites, and a local Staple Club to contact. He was very open to questions and was patient, even though I asked a lot of them. My husband came with me and he feels assured that I'm in good hands too. Whew, the first step has been taken! Dr. Anez appears to have a flourishing practice. His staff treated me very well. It's clear that they are busy, but everyone has been great. Marisol was so kind when I spoke with her for the first time, she too, answered all my questions. I will be seeing Dr. Anez two more times before surgery. He made it clear that wls is a tool, and that aftercare is important. I agreed to honor the schedules of appointments he has his patients follow. It's also clear that I have a responsibility to follow through on his recommendations. He was straightforward on the risks of surgery, he told us what the are, and there is more information in the booklet he gave me. I've only met Dr. Anez once, but so far, I feel that he is very competent, and I feel as safe as I can, having him as my physician."
