My story isn't the one I thought I would be telling 12 years after RNY. I had a severe Candy Cane Reduction syndrome of 10 inches. I had to have a revision in 2018 to correct it. My original surgeon refused to listen to me when I went to him several times about how bad I felt after eating. I moved to Michigan and finally after 5 years of pain I got a surgeon to listen to me. I gained a huge chunk of my weight back within 4 years of having the revision. I am currently looking to have another revision.
