As long as I can remember, I've always been over weight. I was teased in school about my weight and I've always been self conscious about it. It's kept me from doing many things I would've liked to do over the years, sports, going to the beach, pool parties, weddings, pretty much any social gathering. to make a long story short, I have 3 kids now and I'm only 27 years old. I don't need to have my weight and health issues preventing me from living my life with my kids. While I was waiting for my surgery date to show up, I found out I had high chloresterol. No big surprise because that and diabetes, blood pressure and heart disease in general are all things that run in my family. Hopefully surgery helps with keeping all that stuff away because I just wanna live my life and be healthy and happy.
