Well here I am.........7 days until my band surgery. YIPEE!! I cannot believe that this is going to happen.
Here is alittle bit about me. I am 41 and have 2 beautiful and smart children, 17 yr daughter and a 8 yr old son.
I have a wonderful husband of 23 years. He has loved me through every weight. Our wedding vows should have
said instead of in sickness and health, through very thin and very fat. LOL He has supported me through this has
left it up to me if I want to have this surgery or not.
We are military (Air Force) and trying to get anything approved through them is a act of GOD! That is truly what this
experience has been. My primary care Dr told me since I am basicly healthy they probably would not approve this, but
he turned in the referal anyway. Well through prayer it got approved and now on Sept 5th at 7:30 I will join the rest of the
banded group. I am so very excited and nervous. I will start my liquid diet tomorrow. Wish me luck.
