Well here I am 8 weeks post op and down 42 lbs 
and I feel wonderful! I can honestly say that I have no regrets, and am so looking forward to continuing the process of getting healthy.
For the first time in years I am getting excited about shopping. I could not do this without my families support. I am so fortunate!

Wow what a difference a week can make. Everything is going great! I am so relieved that it is over and I am now onto the next chapter of my healthy life. We spent the entire week in SanFrancisco, which was a good choice, due to a minor setback, I was close to the hospital. Everyone at CPMC were wonderful as well as the people at Cathederal Hill Hotel. I post again in a few days.

I am ready! My parents are flying into San Francisco from Indiana for my surgery. I feel so blessed to have their support. My mother is a registered nurse, and that gives me peace of mind, when it comes to monitoring my care. The success that I see on OH, certainly helps with my anxiety leading up to the surgery. I will post again after I am back home.

YEAH!, I just got the call my surgery date is June 6, 2007. I am so excited, everything is falling into place.

I have been cleared by the surgeon, completed all preliminary tests, have the insurance authorization, now I am pacing the floor awaiting my surgical date.
