MY SIS HAD HER SURGERY TODAY!!! GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY HAS LEFT HER TUMMY HURTING BUT HER HEART FLYING! SHE IS IN GOOD SPIRITS AND HAPPY THAT THE STEP HAS BEEN TAKEN! I AM SO PROUD OF HER! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW SHE DOES WITH THE REST OF IT! KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS! PLEASE.....GOOD THOUGHTS WELCOME.
Week 2 of Pre-Op Diet (Dieting w/my Sis)

Boy this is tough! I was so freakin happy the first week. I lost 12 pounds! It didn't seem hard at all. This week is a different story. My sis continues to lose a pound or two a day...but I am having a hard time with the same stuff over and over this week. Ugh. Plus I am not losing as fast. I am only losing ounces a day now. What a bummer! I continue to look into PS vs. WLS. Still no decision. Talking to insurance now...and trying to find out how to get started. I read people's frustrations w/insurance and wonder if I really want to start down this path.......I'm a bummer this week! EEkk!
