Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center (COE)

"Well let's see, I had to be up walking every 3 hours (no problems with that) however it sucked that I was the one that had to hook and unhook my NG tube, unplug my IV machine, take off my oxygen and put my own binder on. If my mother wasn't with me the whole time I was in there I would've ended up hurting someone severly. There lack of compassion for people and the lack willingness to help sucked!"

Juarez Hilario

"3/02 I haven't met Dr Juarez yet. I had a consult with his assistant Emile who is absolutely wonderful, very patient and understanding. We got along great! Reading over all of the comments about his office staff surprises me, as one person said "I found it hard to believe we are talking about the same staff" Dianna is great she's helped me the most by providing me with a verbal step by step instruction of what needed to happen and then followed up with a packet in the mail. I felt that Jackie was sarcastic with me and sometimes rude. I tried to empathize with how busy she must be and how demanding her job is but everytime I left a message it would be days before I received a call back if at all. There were 2 occassions where Jackie gave me incorrect information about steps she had taken with insurance. It was very upsetting to me. I'm a little frustrated that I don't get to take part in the aftercare program because I'm not having the surgery at St Lukes because of insurance reasons. I have however contacted a support group that I will start attending in September (surgery is set for 11/5)which I'm excited about Also, my PCP has had this surgery herself and has already provided me with a lot of information and is committed to helping me in anyway I need. **Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm always willing to help =]"
