Welcome to the other side! You are in my thoughts and prayers as you begin your post-op journey. I hope your experiences will be as positive as mine have been. Hopefully all of the pre-op struggles and struggles of being newly post-op will soon be a distant memory as you enjoy the success of your efforts!

Hi friends..... Laura started drinking water today. So far, so good. Still scheduled for release tomorrow if tolerating broth and jello...oh yeah. LOL As we sat there visiting, her roommate(yes, she lost the private room) complains that they gave her too much food for dinner and she can't eat it. Meanwhile, Laura can't have more than sips of water. How cruel.....oh well, that's healthcare in America. All for now. Tanya

Laura was up and walking today, though still a little sore. She should be able to drink some clear liquids tomorrow, and home on Thursday..Tanya

Hi again...I just got back from visiting Laura. Everything went well. She was a little groggy from the meds, but resting comfortably. She lucked out and got a private room at the end of the hall, so at least she will have some peace and quiet. All for now....Tanya

Hi all..... Laura's surgery went as scheduled. She was in recovery after 3 hours. Her husband said she is just settling into her room. I am on my way up to visit and will update later today...

Hi Laura! Congrats on your surgery tomorrow! I bet you are so excited! Try to get some sleep tonight! LOL! I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I'm so happy for you.
