HI ALL!! I just havent been in here to post lately, thought I would today HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! I am going to have a GREAT year!! Started with my WLS on 12/13, figure it can only get beter now!!!! I want to thank EVERYONE that has been so supportive with their messages and comments and e-mails, sorry havent answered all personally. And everyone in the chat room has been vary helpful!! I love you all!!!! (any suggestions on how to get a sneeze to pass easier!!) God Bless all of you!!

Howdy to all my loved ones!!!! I came home yesterday on 12/17, that was a rough day, for some strange reason I felt I could get in and out of our bed with no problems - WRONG - It was real comfy for about an hour, then I had to get up, tried and tried, then had to wake my husband up, all I could think of was him calling for the firemen to come and help hoist my bloated big butt out of bed at 2 in the mornin!!!! I now know that I do not get in the bed for another few weeks!! Luckly, we did not have to resort to the firemen!! I have swollon feet, they didn't start to swell until the day I was being discharged from the hospital, I continue to add driveways to my hourly walks and drink drink drink all my water and everytime I sit, my feet are propped up, so I hope the swelling will go down soon. All in all, I feel pretty good!! I want to thank all the people that sent me their posts, I really apreaciate that!! {{{{HUGS}}}}} to all!!

Lorianne, I had my surgery oct 14 at vista w/dr alanis also. i hope recovery is fast and your new life is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings Lorianne...We are sharing Friday the 13th, in Texas. Perhaps we should start a club. Best wishes, I do not know yet what time of day my surgery is but I will have my angel husband watch for your results. God Bless you, I am ready. Mary

I pray that you have a successful surgery and speedy recovery. I had lap RNY with Dr Alanis 10/9/02; Dr Alanis is an excellent surgeon.
