Daniel Fabito

"I met Dr Fabito on April 29th at the group consultation. I really feel better after meeting him. He was so gracious and informative. I was so impressed by his knowledge of this surgery. There was even a lady there from Texas who was told he was the best in this type of surgery. She was staying with her family in Springfield Missouri until after her surgery and was able to go back home. His assistant Ida was very sweet and kind of funny. She is so busy and overwhelmed though since Dr. Fabito is the only one doing this surgery now through the New Start program. What I liked the most is how he explained how he does the surgery compared to other surgeons. He puts 8 layers of staples in and also sutors to make sure of no leakage, so there's no need for leakage tests after the surgery. Also he puts you in intensive care for the first 24 hours and the reason for this is he wants his patience to have the one on one care because of the type of surgery. He said that way if we need pain medicine we can get it stat. If he would put us back on the floor, there is like 1 nurse to every 10 patience and we could be waiting a week for the pain medicine. He's really funny too when he explains. He makes you feel so very comfortable and now alone. I know God has blessed him. He really cares about helping us. And I know it's not just for the money. I have my surgery on May 19th. Not skeptical at all anymore. I know he will take good care of me. ---Terry Loskot, Donnellson, IL"
