So, I didn't plan on blogging, but when I stepped on the scales I got so excited!!! When I just weighed myself, I was at 298 pounds!! I am under the 300 pound mark. I was not going to weigh myself today, but just could'nt resist! I definitely understand that I cannot expect to lose the weight this quick for the rest of my journey, but any weight loss is welcomed in my life for the time being! Well, thats all...keeping it short and sweet for today! One love, peeps!

What's to come?

So today is the fourth day post-op! I am feeling pretty good, no issues with pain or all that stuff...One thing I have been having a problem with, is facing this new reality that has been placed in front of me. I am no longer to drown myself in food like I was able to before. My new stomach prevents me from doing that. It just seems so surreal to me right now! I have been put through so much hell throughout my life because of my weight. Not necessarily with friends (I had no problem in that department), but just my own personal struggles. I have serious self-esteem issues and anxiety all caused from my weight problem. Luckily I ran into someone who had their WLS with my surgeon, Dr. Guillermo Alvarez! They are doing great and really looking great as well! I went to Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico and had my Vertical Sleeve Gasectromy on November 19th 2010. I have absolutely no regrets as of right now. The process was smooth as hell and really was a lot of fun! I cannot wait to see my body as it goes through changes. I am excited about this journey I just started and really anticipate a better looking, healthier, me!
