Well, here I am.... I am a mother of two beautiful kids and hoping to get married in the near future. I have battled with my weight my entire life. About 5 years ago, my two best friends had WLS. I supported their decisions but was completely against it. I kept telling myself "I don't need to go thru that, I can do it on my own". Here I am five years and two kids later, at my heaviest. Finally realizing I can't do it on my own and it is ok to get a little help.
I am ready for this. I am ready to start the rest of my life. I want to be able to enjoy my family. I started my journey in March of '09. I was just recently approved for my surgery and it is scheduled for October 21. I have a lot of support and I am SO EXCITED!
