"Dr. Pleatman is quite professional and laid back at the same time. He will definitely let you know what is on his mind with out reservation. He is a very skilled surgeon (I have miniscule laparoscopic incisions). Every time I had to go into the hospital before surgery the staff raved about him. I felt very secure in his care. The office staff could not be better. They will fight the insurance with you, listen and take action. Carla and Renee are great! Dr. Pleatman is an excellent choice for a surgeon. Medical aftercare will be necessary beyond Dr. Pleatman. Nutritionists and medical docs will be invaluable, if they are good ones. A Medical doc who specializes in treating obesity and diseases thereof would make life much easier pre-op and post-op. I wasn't satisfied with the nutritionist Dr. Pleatman referred me to. She didn't have enough experience with bariatric surgery diets.

"Dr. Kpadenou is the best doctor I have ever had, by far, for the entirety of my life. He is an expert in treating the obese, and diseases of obesity (diabetes, heart disease, etc). He listens for those hesitations in your voice meaning that you might have something to say or ask (he hears them with his back turned). He understands the complications of obesity surgery that can often be overlooked. His staff is WONDERFUL. There is a nutritionist as well as a therapist IN the office. I'm so glad that I was introduced to Dr. K (by another rny patient). "
