Okay ... so I hit 340.6 lbs and said HOLY CANOLI!!! I had the Lapband put in by Dr. Alan Geiss. I lost 40 in the first 10 months. The I gained some back. I was having difficulty keeping down anything "healthy". I couldn't eat chicken or fruits or veggies. It was easy to eat those sweats, so I did. I managed to maintain at 303, but who wants to stay at 303?? So I met with Dr. Spencer Holover and on Feb 9, 2009 I had Gastric Bypass. I lost another 85 lbs and for one brief and shinging week I saw 218 lbs on the scale. I was down from a size 30 to a size 18. However, over the past year 22 of those pounds have found their way back onto my body. Although I am still wearing a size 18, I can feel them getting a little snugger.
SO, it is time to get back on track and lose another 65 lbs. Sounds like such a big number! So, I have set a mini goal for myself. First I want to lose 41 lbs and weigh 199 (finally breaking that 200 mark) by June 20th when I will be dancing in a dance recital. That is 6 months and not at all unrealistic.
Off we go .......
