Hello all my name is Gary Brown and back in July i made the decision to have the gastric bypass surgery. It took some time for me to find out if i was approved from the insurance co. but i was approved and i was really excited. I spoke with the surgeons office and i'm scheduled for surgery on November 21, 2006 i'm really happy and can't wait. The date today is December 24,2006 and it's my first time getting on writting anything about my story, what i really wanted to do was get on and try to find some friends first and get firmiler with the site which i did do.

Ok today is the first time that i got on to write anything i'm not sure how good i will be on getting on and keeping every one updated between work and really enjoying my new life so far, but i will try. as of 12/18/06 i'm down to 329pds i have lost 26 pds so far on 11-21-06 i weighted in at 355pds so i'm doing good and i'm really happy a lot of people have been seeing me and saying that they can tell the diffrence to me it does not look like i've lost much but hey i look at my self every day do it will take a lil more time for me to really see a change, but everyone tells me that my face has gotten smaller and my stomach looks like it's going down, but over all i'm happy and loving every min of it well until next time have a great holiday and a terrific New year.
