Robert Cooney
"Dr. Cooney is very good. He has a dry sense of humor and is very caring. He's not a "touchy-feely" person - but he is good at what he does! He is not a "chatty" person either but will take time to explain and answer your questions. He was also a very good advocate for me in the hosptial when I had a problem with post-op pain (anesthisia screwed up with a few things - nothing major - but when Dr. Cooney came in to see me and I started crying - he took care of it and helped me voice my frustration and anger about the situation to the right people). Before surgery he talked to me about his "stats" which were very impressive - and after having the surgery I'm sure that they were completly accurate. I have had NO problems with my stoma whatsoever! The drain came out before I left the hospital and I couldn't be happier that I was blessed with him for my surgeon. Dr. Cooney is very big on follow-up with the nutritionist program at Hershey and they are all a GREAT team. I really feel that they know what they are doing and are constantly looking for ways to do it even better. In my book he gets a "10" across the board!"

"I like the Grape flavor the best - Alpine Punch next. I didn't care for them pre-op but they have been a life-saver post-op. My only complaint is the price - way too much. I'm looking for something less expensive that I can tolerate."
