It's been 8 days since I was sleeved. The surgery went great. Unfortunately, I had severe nausia for 30+ hours following surgery. I'm sure all the throwing up made my pain a little worse than it should have been. But in a few days, I did feel like I had rejoined the living again.lol.
Anyway, now that I'm over a week out, I'm still a little sore but very happy to have the worst behind me and only good things ahead.

I've been on my pre-op diet since 9/5/11. I started at 299 lbs. and now I'm at 285 lbs. Yay!
I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday for a blood test and an EKG and had a little trouble. I fainted when they were drawing blood! I've always had a little anxiety about giving blood but nothing like this has ever happened before. It's not even the needle that freaks me out, it's having a tourniquet pulled tight around my arm cutting off blood supply.
Anyway, I'm only 6 days away from surgery and except for having the IV put in, I'm very excited!
