Christmas weight gain and falling off track

Jan 24, 2009

Well, i gained a few pounds, 5, over Christmas vacation and while some think that is not very much, we all know how 5 can turn into 6, then 7 then 10, then 20 and so on so my thinking that its best to nip things in the butt before they get out of hand.

I recently heard of a plan called the 5 day pouch test and for those of you that want to check it out, www.5daypouchtest.com ,, anyhow did that for a week and lost those darn 5 pounds and I have to say the plan they give you is pretty darn easy and I can see how it would help you get back on track if you  have fallen back into the carb wagon etc.

This 5 day pouch test is not meant for you to lose weight but to get back on track but it has been reported that lots of people have lost some weight, I was one of them. Im going to do it again this week, starting Monday the same as I did last week and see if I can lose a few more pounds and still stay on track.

If you have not checked this site out, do it! Especially if you have fallen off track.

Otherwise, I have been doing great and loving my WLS. I dont regret a thing.!!!

Boy, am I out of shape!!

Decided it was high time to get my rear end on my treadmill, shoot,, its a nice one,, so instead of letting it go to waste, I better start using it,, soooo, I jump on thinking,, today is the day!!! Im going to start working out. So, Im thinking i am going to give myself a mile, every day, Monday thru Friday and give myself the weekends off.
Now, Im a pretty active person, but this goes to show you that its not the same kind of workout.

I started off walking for 2 minutes, then ran a minute, walked a minute, ran a minute, walked 2 minutes, LOL, ran a minute, walked another 2 minutes and walked the rest of the way,, took me 13.5 minutes to do a mile,,

Gotta start somewhere,,, right?

So my plan is to stick to this plan until I get used to it then increase my running time as I am capable. Should be interesting but Im thinking its high time to get my rear end more fit.

Next, I want to look into having some plastics done,, boobs and a tummy tuck, of course, tired of the extra skin.
My Doctor says Im pretty lucky I dont have really super loose skin on my arms but I do have some on my upper thighs, which is ugly, and of course my tummy.

More on that later, which has got me to thinkin',,, are we really ever really satisfied with what we have?

A play

Im seriously thinking about trying out for a play that is coming up.. always wanted to do this... but not having the "total Guts" to actually do it,, does that make any sense? LOL

Its a musical, and I cant sing, so maybe even if I got a nothing part just doing nothing is a start,, right?

Im always watching movies, and whatever else, and I have always said, man, that looks like fun. Realizing that its work, and a commitment,, but this is also a dream I have had " if I ever lose the weight".

On another note,, I have been riding every day,, there are some big races coming up that I would like to go to. I have not been to a race since August 16th,, and Im now "chomping the bit" so to speak,, and get my fix!!

Im also thinking more and more about plastics,, want a boob job super bad and a tummy tuck, of course! Just afraid of the pain ha ha ha....
