Dear Mark..........Hi. I had to write you in answer to your post on Herbalife. Oh boy it made me mad! Your kind and generous words about that guy, "I know that he only has my best interests at heart, but I am about to go off. I want to keep him as the dear friend that he is," made me so sad. He's a salesman who got hyped up by a speech from his supervisor to cheer him on to $ale more and more $$$$$$. It's so hurtful all these diets and promises that never work for us and leaves us feeling like failures when we are nothing of the kind. You friend may really be a friend but he's lost his way about how a true friendship works. Please be patient with him in his confusion. His supervisor has comvince him with pep speeches that he is now a medical expert with knowledge beyond a WLS surgeon. Later on he will see after all the dizzy dreams of Herbalife riches are out of his head that he wasn't helping but putting stumbling blocks in the way. He's in a bad place right now so try to keep as much distance as you think you need so his sales pitches won't cause you any stress..........Any company that needs to put the squeeze on people with such high preasure pitches such as daily phone calls is a company to stay away from. If it were a 10th of what it claimed to be then we would be running to him to be signed up. My surgeon forbids his patients to take any herbal tonics/pills cause they could cause surgery complications so please ask your surgeon how he feels about it...............My very best wishes to you, your lovely family and your surgery date! Take care and God bless :)
