Hello Mary!!! Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- Congratulations on your surgery date and may God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. Hi Mary! Finally, Big congratulations on your surgery date! You've really stuck it out! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. Mary - So sorry to read of your insurance denial!! Believe me, I know how you feel...but you have to fight it!! Remember, you are worth it!!

Cigna has denied yet again so my surgery has been cancelled. The Dr.'s offices final words to me were "join weight watchers for six months - we'll keep your records on file". No offer to help, no encouragement, no lets take care of the monthly weigh ins here. No lets hook you back up with our nutrionalist. Basically it was - well the insurance isn't going to pay so we can't waste any more time on you. Good bye. The surgeon didn't even call himself - had an office person call. I guess in the end it is all about the money. Oh well. It was a good dream while it lasted.

Hi Mary - I'm so sorry to hear about your denial. I know you must feel crushed, but try to take it easy today. Don't give up, think of what you can do next. Start working on another plan. You have done too much work for get ready for this surgery, so don't stop fighting. I just want you to know that I am thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a solution to this denial.
