Mary I am pre op too and i am soooooo sorry to hear about what happened with your surgeons office. You should ask since They lost it and that will possibly delay your time if once you get ins. approval you can get bumped up on the surgery date list to make up for their mistake

I guess you could call this an update. Although, it kinda feels like a set back. I talked to Matilde today to find out the status of my authorization and was given a "tentative" surgery date of March 25th. Now for the kicker ... I was told that they have LOST my paperwork! They have people looking for it, but they may need everything over again ... sighhh. So I sit and wait. But I'm trying to keep smiling :)

Well after a year of Doctor visits, paper work and about a million tests, I finally have some dates set. My first (group) appointment is at UC Davis on Feb 4th and then I have my consult on Feb 14th (Valentines Day)with Dr. Ali. I'm so nervous and excited I feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin! I have a WONDERFUL support group in the town where I live, but as most of you know, you can't have TOO MUCH support. So I welcome all prayers and support with open arms. God Bless
