I have always had a weight problem. Just like everyone else I have tried different types of diets. I am at my most high right now of 241#'s. I would love to be at 140#s. Everytime I try to lose weight. I only seem to get bigger. The last time that I lost weight was back in 1993. I had lost about 80#'s and looked damn good. I want that back. Not only do I want to look good again. I really want to nip it in the bud right now, since heart disease, cancer,high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and arthritis runs in my family.
I am plannig a trip with my husband for 2010, but i haven't decided what month yet. We are planning to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in Europe. This is another reason why i want to be thin. I have started the gym and may be getting a personal trainer so that i prepare myself to be dedicated after my surgery. I understand that this surgery us only a tool, but i want the tool to work.
My goal is to go down to 140#, which is what i weighed back in 1993. I am nervous, but at the same time very excited. I have no idea how i am going to do while not eating. Especially for the clear liquids, I don't know how long i could last on that.
As of right now I have started takin all my vitamins and drinking protein shakes.
I found the one that I can handle. Whey Protein(Strawberry) from walmart. I am going to also try some protein bars to see if i can handle that as well. If anyone can give me some advice on the best vitamins, b-12 subligual pills and the best way to lose some weight now it would be highly appreciate it. I also need advice on how to cut down on eating. I am doing the protein drinks, but it does not fill me up. what to do? what to do?
