My name is maria. I have been obese all of my life. From the age of 10 I realized that I was different. I was alway bigger than others. I have a twin sister (who is my life). She has always been thin-even after having twins herself. My mother died at 61, her sisters died at 59, 62. This all happened in the past 3 years. They all have diabetes, and I have been diagniosed myself. I want to have the Lap band surgery to live longer. I have a good/nice husband and 4 chidren that need me. I am currently working on my PHD, but everyday afraid of dying. I just want people I can talk to who understand my fears and concerns. I just want to feel good about myself.
