Lisa, Best of wishes to you as you make your journey to the other side. I too had my surgery last year around the holidays. I found that I had no issues with not consuming the massive feast. My Christmas dinner consisted of one ounce of turkey soaked in chicken broth then placed in the blender. I found that with not having all thoughts placed on getting some of "whoevers" to die for casserole or cake made me ENJOY the holidays with family and friends. As a society we place so much value on food consumption and gathering that we truely miss some of those joys of just being with friends and loved ones. Peace to you.........KimmieTN
