Hello everyone. I made it out alive! Keep in mind i am on some major pain killers as i type. I do have tons of questions. I have two drains and 5 tiny incisions. The drains hurt, but the incisions do not at all. My stomachs are in constant motion, sounds like a huge thunderstorm going on in there. i am belching alot and have gas pains. Would like to hear some post op responses. How long will i feel like this. I just want to be normal feeling again.

congratulations Melanie! I hope everything went fine for you. I too look forward to the other side. Haven't had my appointment with Dr. Jawad yet, go 4/2 to PCP and am going to refer then. I look forward to your posting of how it went. Take care and rest. Best of the best to you.

well, its 4:30 am and I am wide awake. Doing pretty good considering i have been a blubbering idiot for the last week. I seem calm....except for my bowels, of course!!I will post when i get home in a few days!

Hi Melanie, sending you best wishes on your surg. today.I had my surg last week 3-22-01. just leave everything in Gods hands and you will be fine. And remember that this is a new begining on a better life. Take care and God bless and keep you thru this journey.
