Hello peeps, I apologize to the person who still comes by reading my page! I have been away for a minute but i have returned! I have been trying to get past my plateau. I did that and then my weight has been up and down my lowest after the plateau was 230lbs and my high is 235lbs! UUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH! Many of you can feel my frustration, but ia am making a promise to myself to step it up! I have had to deal with alot of bad news lately and i know that I have to learn to push thru it but I couldn't bring myself to do it! I am saying now that I will!
My hubby has given me a cruise for NOV 2011 and I am usung this as motivation! So here are a couple of new pics and i wil get some full body shots to see b4 and after! love yall Melanie!

I have been away for a while! Alot has happend! I went to hawaii, started a biz and trying to stay sane while being a wife to a firefighter and a mommy to a great 4yr old!
First Band Fill!

I went in for my first band fill and it was most unpleasant! My appointment time was 945 am and I waited until about 1040am to be seen and then they didn't even have my chart. Once i got back there they set up everything and began to swab my belly and proceed to inject the saline. It, in my mind took forever for them to inject the solurtion. I wasn't crazy bout the procedure at all but it had to be done! So Now i have just under 5 cc of saline. The kicker to all of this is that I am on a liquid diet for 24hrs and then onto pure and soft food! Uggggggggggggggh! I feel great though Yall!

I got a lot of compliments on my progress and I will probablly submit something like this to the doctor so that he can use it in the Info sessions!I did have some fluctuation in my weight and I nearly killed my scale but then I realized that I was PMS-ind! LoL. NOw I am back to my 248lbs. I am working to keeping it off and lose more!

It has been a while since I have been on here to post anything about myself, but I dod have some news! First, I went to Franklin MIlls OUtlet Mall to rehab my wardrobe. Most of my clothes, No all of my clothes are too big! So ai bought a lil of everyhing! I shopped in store like the GAP! I am In 18/20 fot the most part! YAY! I do have some XL and XXL tops from Old Navy. My bra size has gone down due to decreased back fat! Oh Yeah, SMALLER DRAWLS! HOOOOOORAY!
I am so excited that this is the first time in a long time that I am successful in a weight loss journey! Now that I am losing weight, I really am longing for another baby! I am torn. But that is another convo completely!
My Current Weight is 248 lbs. 39 lbs down

Bottom size 1X- 18/20
Bra size 42DD no wire 44DDD undedrwire Used to be 46 DD)

Ok today was my doctor visit and I just knew they were gonna give me a "fill". I got on the scale and I couldn't beleive that Is was ounces off of what my scales usually says and that never happens! So I look down at the numbers and it said 254.6 lbs! I could not believe it. I couldn't remember what my weight was the last time I was there. The nurse came in and was reveiwing my info and she kept flipping the pages back and forth, now I'm thinking that there is something wrong. She looks up at me and says," you have lost 10 lbs". and I could NOT make sense of her statement! She went on to say, "you lost 10 lbs in 4 weeks! What a great job!" So my total is ( I count my first bariatric weigh in) and my grand total is 36 lbs down!

I am now wearing a size 20 jean and a xxl or 1x top from Old Navy. If anyone has a food diary that they can send via email I would really appreciate it or could suggest a good one that is online that would be great too. You can sent it to this account or email @ lifenlove73@yahoo.com.
Have a Happy Holiday! Think about what you put into you mouth be it good or bad. Develop a plan to stay on track! I have been notified that my in laws' family dinner will be fried chicken and veggie lasagna with some side dishes. I will bring a yogurt and some other ok items for me to eat!
