Hello, My name is Melissa and I am 49 years old and will turn 50 in April, 2007. I had my LapBand Surgery on 11/10/06 and started at the 260lbs at Dr. Geller's office prior to surgery. I have a 15 yr old daughter and a 30 yr old daughter with 4 children. I have wonderful Husband (Danny) who is very supportive of me. I have had a long strugle with my wieght like most of us. My weight really started increasing when I had a Historectomy in 1988. I also used to be a smoker and quit several times through my life and each time gained 40 lbs. I have been smoke free now since July 1, 2001. I am very happy I have had my Bariatric Surgery and look forward to many pounds being lost.
