Wow!!! has this been a bad year for me. Last year at this time I was haveing a ton of trouble with unexplained pain. I went through an exploritory and numerous egd's to see what was wrong. After going to the ER for throwing up blood I finally went in for another EGD with a specialist and he found and Intestanal fistula that attached to my pouch from an ulcer that was burned through.
I just and I do mean Just had revision with removal of my old stomach surgery done. In the surgery my surgeon (same that did the bypass) was trying desperatly to save my spleen It of course had a mind of its own and I lost all but 1 unit of blood. With transfusions and a week in ICU I'm on the road to recovery. I have a smaller pouch then I did before and I feel like a newby because of all the stage things I have to do again. But and least the old pain is gone.
