I feel great and I don't feel like I am missing out on anything!  My family and friends are still fumbling with what to feed me as am I  but I don't feel like I have to give up anything.  I am following the rules except to remember to eat midday.  I am so happy for this change in my life and getting my health back on track!  I am missing popcorn at the movies.  Looking forward to my two month diet change.  Until then, I can wait.  May you all have enjoyed a magical Christmas!

I am excited and nervous all at the same time! I am so glad this day has finally arrived and I am looking forward to my journey towards taking my life back! I am very fortunate that my boyfriend and mom are going to be there with me in pre-op.  I know the surgeon has an excellent record. Still it is surgery and anything can happen.  I am going in with my eyes wide open and ready to peel off the weight and be me, again. I have a few amazing friends that will be coming up to the hospital to see me and I am taking my Kindle Fire to keep my mind busy and hands. 
I will blog as soon as I can after the procedure until then Cheers!

I still have about a month and a half to go before my date. In the meantime, I am working out at the gym with a trainer to help get me on the right track, mentally and physically.  Nutritionally, both my trainer and my surgeon's nutritionist are on-board.  I am "mourning my naughty foods".
Most importantly, I am listening to the recommendations of those members that have been where I am going and trying to follow their success!  Of course, every person's body is different but advice does help, I believe.
I have been thinking this process through since about 2002 or later.  Long process to finally decide this is the right choice for me. I know, I have a lot of hard work ahead of me. It will be worth it! I have to stay focused on the outcome!
