Have a surgery date... and a pre-op date...

Hello Iam so excited I have a surgery date of 8 July at 0800am but I have to be at the hospital at 0600 am that morning. I just can not explain the excitement that iam experiencing. Sometimes I get nervous and sometimes I feel good. My pre-op is scheduled for the 2 of July at 1:00 at Dekalb Medical Center. Yeah.... I have about 9 days for pre-op appt and 15 days til surgery...

Well I guess it's about that time to start documenting my process for my surgery. Well yesterday I finished all my appointments for the surgery. First of all I saw my PCM on April 24. Went to the Bariatric seminar on the 1st of May. And as they would say in the military I had to get the ball rolling.... 16 May saw my surgeon Dr. Scott Steinberg. Dr Scott Steinberg he's a very nice young man. And he's very well groomed. Sort of the type of guy that a woman would go crazy over... (Enough of that) 27 May had to see my PCM again because he wanted more blood work and for me to do a EKG and Stress Test...(So the Doctor office finally sent the clearance letter to Dr Steinberg's office on the 3rd of June).And yes I did say the 3rd of June... I really had to keep calling them until they sent the letter.30 May had to go to Dekalb Medical Center to do my Pulmonary test. I was given my clearance right then and there. 3 June had my Psychological evaluation done . But the Dr stated that she would have the report done in about 2 weeks. 4June had my Dietician appt. The Dietician said that the paperwork would be faxed to the Dr the next day. Well I guess you can say that the only thing that i have to wait for now is the clearance from my Psychological eval. And then the Dr office could send up my paperwork for approval with my insurance company
