Hi Jessica! You look great! Did you get contacts? It's amazing and kinda sad how a weight loss changes a person. I had the surgery Feb 1, 2001, and have lost 122#. Your weight loss made me wonder if mine's OK!

I talked to Jessie a couple days ago. She's been at her grandmother's. She's doing great. She's a *lot more coherent now! LOL! She said she's already eating oatmeal and baby food!! Go Jess!! She will be home from her grandmother's this weekend! Then, she'll probably start posting her own updates! Again, I'm sooooo proud of you, Jessie!!

I called the hospital today... they said Jessie was discharged! Woohoooo!! I haven't gotten to talk to her yet, though. But I'm sure it's much nicer to be home than in the hospital.

I've been calling the hospital like crazy and I'm always just missing Jess. I've talked to both her mom and grandmom. They say she's in a lot of pain. She's also had x-rays done... but I think that may just be procedural there. I'll try to talk to her directly tomorrow and post another update.

At Approx 1:30 MDT, I got a call from Jessie's mom that she'd pulled through the surgery OK! So far so good!! I'm sure there will be more updates to follow :)

Jessie... I love you honey!! I'm so proud of you and wish you the best of luck!! My thoughts and prayers are with you tonight into tomorrow... and then for your healthier future. :) I'll even blend high-protein food for you when you get out!
