On 9/16/07 it will be two years since I had my surgery. I have lost and am currently maintaining a 133 pound weight loss.
This surgery and Dr. Roslin saved my life. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Roslin for going to bat for me with my insurance company.
Learning how to eat and adjusting to my new body was not always easy, but it gets easier as the time goes by.
I am very conscience of what I eat because I am petrified that I will gain my weight back. I weigh myself twice a day to keep track of myself. I know a lot of people do not weigh themselves, but this is something that I just need to do.
After I had my surgery I ended a 13 relationship. It was hard, I'm still not used to being by myself and I really don't like it. But I am doing the best I can. I have a lot to be grateful for, my parents are still alive, I have a wonderful daughter and son-in-law who gave me two beautiful granddaughters. I have a job and a roof over my head and most importantly, I have my life and health back. What more could I ask for. (Maybe a rich man, ha ha)

I haven't posted in so long, it is almost two years since my surgery and I am so grateful. I have lost 133 pounds and feel wonderful.
