I am a 44 year young mother of two beautiful boys. Both of my parents died in their early 50's and although only one was due to obesity related illnesses, I have decided to take that possible scenario out of my future by undergoing Lap Band surgery. Now I just need the insurance company to agree.
Ok, that was fast, they did agree and I had the surgery. I am about a week post op and will update everything here as it happens.
