WOW. What a difference 20 pounds makes!! Yep, I am down 20 pounds since op date of 2/7 and I feel pretty great. I am still having trouble with the "head hunger", but does that EVER go away? :0) I had gone from a high of 306 to 285 op date and am now (according to MY scale) at 260. Oh, I guess that makes 25 pounds. SUPER GREAT! My youngest is a starting varsity softball player, and I couldn't wait for the season to start...I never would've guessed that I would stand and wander for half the game instead of sitting my padded derriere on the bleacher seats! I am now doing that WITHOUT having to sit back down from the extreme back pain!! I am so stoked. On the negative side, I am already seeing the skin sag that I had prayed I could avoid...haha, talk about denial!! But, boy, do I feel better. I just recently started having a nausea problem. Anyone know what the heck THAT"S all about? I'm guessing it's the introduction of different foods as days go on, but boy, yesterday I had to lay down and go to bed wayyyy early just to get over it. I took a Prevacid and took to bed! Could anyone give me some ideas on informal exercise I can do at home or in the car, etc? Can't afford a gym, and want to get FIT. Help :0)
Wow. Such a journey!

I gotta tell ya...I am in heaven! I am 4 days post-op and as long as I am on pain meds (liquid Lortab...yuckeepoo!) I am great, happy and looking so forward to my life now. I went into the freezer to get a no-sugar added popsicle and saw the Party Size Lasagna and got a pang so big I thought I would die. So I have obviously still got work to do upstairs in the head space :0) It will never end. Ever. So I will need to just deal and realize that I am human and nip mistakes in the bud, and vow to work ultra hard to be a success in my health goals. Hopefully this website will be a great help to keep me on track. Hope you all have pearls of wisdom for my life-long journey. I also pray that I gain enough of that wisdom to share it will you all.
