I am back from the hospital and doing fine. Dr. Malley said it was good thing I had done the pre-op diet because my liver was still very large. He was able to get the band on though - YEAH! He is a great surgeon. He made sure the OR had the new AP band for me, because he knew how much I wanted one. I have a 10cc and my husband has a 14cc.
My pain is minimal, nothing I can't tolerate. I only took morphine a couple times last night, so I could get some sleep, between them waking me up for meds and vitals. I haven't taken anything since 4am. I really only hurt when I stand-up or sit down - the pulling changing positions, but once I am up or down I am fine.
We walked around Wal-mart on the way home from the hospital to pick up my liquids. I am looking forward to soup on Monday! It was tiring, but that is to be expected.
