I FINALLY got approved by my insurance company for my tummy tuck.  I have fought and fought through many many denials for the stupidest reasons.  A couple months ago I went to the employers HR person and asked for a specific name for appeals.  I was given it and since then I've been sending in pictures etc. constantly and I guess it paid off because it worked.  I'm am tentatively set for surgery on January 7th.

1 Year Post-Op

It is one year TODAY (12-19-07)since my gastric bypass and what a whirlwind year it has been.  I've never felt so alive and inspired and free really.

 I did the math today and I have lost 123 lbs to date and along with that 71.75 inches!

 I lost the following inches in the following places:

 Bust 16 (how, oh how am I still in a DD/DDD bra? LOL)

 Waist 17 inches

 Hips 18.5 inches

 Thighs 7.75 inches

 Arms 7 inches

 Neck 4.5 inches

 Wrist 1 inch

 I've never regretted this choice I made and I am so darn thankful it was so easy for me both in weight loss and in the lifestyle change.  I always thought it would be very drastic to how I lived before but I've found that not to be the case too often.  Anyway, wanted to share my "anniversary" with you!
