I only lost 7lbs this month so it is slowing up but at least it is still coming off. I still want to lose 60 more pounds. I found out early that I don't dump on sugar so that is a problem for me but give me something healthy like chicken and I will get sick. Go figure!
This surgery by far is the best thing I have ever done besides marry my husband and have my children!
Ta Ta for now!

The scale is finally moving after a 6 week stall. Thought I was done losing weight!! I was freaking out! Saw my doctor yesterday for my 6 month check up. He seemed pleased with my weightloss but said I need to up my protein so that I dont have so me stalls. He said the protein will make me lose the weight. Soooooooo I started to drink my protein shakes again in the morning. BLAH!
July 10th
Thought this whole thing was a breeze ...until now!
Just got out of the hospital. I have gastroitis, esophigisitis, and a hiatal hernia. What joy. Im on medicine to see if that controls everything and if not, I have to have surgery. I was told I was the ideal model of how weightloss surgery should go but now Im not!
Down 95lbs and still worth it. I would do it again in a heart beat!
Hit ONEDERLAND today!! Never want to see the 200's again!
Yea for me!!! I have to get a new picture up soon!!![]()

Today is exactly 1 year since my surgery. In one year I have lost 125lbs. 25lbs to go! It is the best thing I have done...
Things I have learned 1 year out:
1. This is not the easy way out! (I never thought this, but friends did) It is hard work. Having your stomach rerouted, not being able to eat, still having the urge to eat, throwing up, dumping, and stomach cramping is not easy...
2. No everyone dumps. I dump on fats but not sugars.
3. My stomach has a mind of its own.
4. Your true friends support you. You find out who your true friends are and who are not.
5. Make sure you research surgeons. I have read terrible horror stories. (I researched for 2 years)
6. You have to workout!
7. You stink!
8. to be continued...
