My reasons and where I am at

I joined this site over sixth months ago and I have researched bariatric surgery here and through various other medical resources. I think my favorite part about Obesity Help is definitely human element that it adds to what otherwise just feels like a bunch of information. I've gotten past the point where the multiple sources of information feel conflicting and I now feel like i KNOW what bariatric surgery is, what it takes to qualify and be successful with, and especially what it means to those that are able to get it.
It is ironic that by deciding to embark on this journey of getting surgery covered by their insurance a lot of people essentially seem to gain an uphill battle of maniac highs of "maybes" and depressed lows of denials. This, to me and many, is exactly what weight loss has always been without surgery.
I've known since the beginning of my research that my insurance policy carries an exclusion, so I haven't gotten my hopes up about getting it, but I still dream about it.
The main reason I would like to have the surgery is so that I can be healthy enough to have another child. I had a very negative experience during my first pregnancy. I was obese, young, and unwed to boot, so I faced a slew of negative experiences with doctors and nurses essentially scolding me about my weight and treating me as though I was not only just another teen pregnancy case going through the system and eating away at taxpayer money, but also as though my weight was harming my unborn child.
Now that I am married, the mother of a beautiful daughter, and in a much better place financially with my own health insurance( if it weren't for that damn exclusion policy I might be proud of it, lol!) , I want to be pregnant again but this time enjoy the miracle that it is. I really do feel a need to be healthier before I can do that and truly shed the old doubts that I had in myself the first time.
I am currently looking into finding other insurance policies/finance options that might help me pay for some of the surgery. Any help on this is so very appreciated.
