Lorraine, I haven't heard how your surgery went! I am praying that all went well and that you will be one of the lucky ones who has no pain and is walking 1/2 mile when you are 3 days out.

Good luck and congrats! Before ya know u will be on the losing side! If I knew I had some books u would like I'd ship u some of mine that I don't want to keep. Big hugs and good luck...I had my rny open and the pain was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. I did not however feel like reading in the hospital. I was there 5 days and took books, word finds and maybe the last day or so I did a few word finds. The first month is hard but each day gets a little bit better. U take care and if u would like an angel to call and check on u and post about how u r doing I don't mind doing it! Hugs and Good luck Angela
