LISA~~May you always have an Angel by your side. Watching out for you in all the things you do. Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days. Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to come true. Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun. Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide. May you always have love and comfort and courage. May you always have an Angel by your side. Someone there to catch you if you fall, Encouraging your dreams, Inspiring your happiness, Holding your hand and helping you through it all.

Lisa, I know what you mean about your friend...I have had some of the same type of comments. People have said to me "Oh, you don't need that surgery...you're tall!" (I'm 5'9") When I ask them if tall people are allowed to be fat, then I ask them to guess how much I weigh....317!! They are always shocked, and I say then that I just can't lug this around with me any longer. I also have no major comorbidities, but my BP is creeping up there, diabetes runs in my family....and I'm just not gonna do the yo-yo thing any more! As for telling your co workers, you will just have to duke that out on your own. My situation is a little different, I'm an RN having surgery at the facility where I work! But I can equate that with telling my friends and neighbors...of which I tell everyone everything...then there's no room for gossip, but that's always been the way I am. I wish you the best of everything, an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. As for the nay sayers.....Let them eat cake!!!! Charlene

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. I had mine done at BTC, but a friend of mine had hers done by Dr. Sapala. She was very pleased. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
