Hi Everyone! My name is Michelle and I am a 36 year old mother of 3 and the wife of a wonderful husband, Tony. I have to admit, I never considered myself obese until I attended a Bariatric Seminar. I was ignorant to what "Morbid Obesity" was. I was referred to have RNY surgery by my PCP in October but was not hearing it until I went to a seminar hosted by my surgeon, C. Kenneth Mitchell, Jr. It was only then that I saw the light and knew that my life span would be short of 10 -15 years because of that. It was October 16, 2008 and my weight loss journey began.
