Wow, I can't believe it's been over four years since my surgery. Thankfully, I've been a true success story. I'm still at a healthy weight and maintaining it all. For all those out there considering this surgery, understand you need to change everything that got you to where you are looking for surgery. It's a last resort, not a quick fix. I only can say this from seeing others either personally or on tv, that went through the trouble of a MAJOR surgery only to gain the weight back. The best thing I could've done was going to see a nutritionist and listened to her! I have to work at everyday. Read the labels, watch my portions, drink plenty of water, and exercise. It's been a struggle at times, because I know what body is capable of gaining.

On a different note.....I'm now a home owner and own a business. I'm married to my new husband almost three years. He saw me when I was over-weight, which was good. I knew he liked me at the time for "me" not the potential or because I lost weight. Of course he did like the lighter me too! I have a pic of my wedding on here. I can't find a before photo right now, but will added when I do. Now I like to have my picture taken! Hope you are all well and good luck to anyone having the surgery soon. Any questions, feel free to contact me. :-)
