Well it has been a very long time since I have posted. Needless to say I did not have the surgery because of other complications. However I am back in the game again. I have decide to have lap band surgery, I feel this is the best surgery for me. The orginal doctor I had does not do lap band surgery so I had to switch. Dr Carter in Fayetteville has a new doctor on board with him. How exciting for me because Dr. Ehjeh does lap band surgery. I am looking forward to this journey and their is no stopping now. Sometimes we want things to happen before our time. But God knows best. The year 2004 was not mine time but I believe 2007 to be my year. So as I travel this new journey I will post every step of the way in meeting my weight loss goal.

One last test to go!! My psychological evaluation is the last test! Guess what my insurance will pay for it. I thought that would be a out of pocket expense. That is why it took me so long to makae the appointment. I don't know what the doctor will think, but I do know that I am ready mentally and physically. The one thing that I am dealing with concerns changing the type of surgery I will have. I have lupus and I am not sure if being banded for life is best procedure for me. The complication I experience now are different then when I was first diagnosed. So I need to have another discussion with my doctor before my insurance paper is submitted. I do know this "WITH GOD BEING IN CONTROL" I will choose the right surgery!
Back from my psych. eval. what a surprise the receptionist had it all wrong.....the insurance does not pay. Thank God it was only $100.00. It took 40 minutes to feel out all the papers and the doctors assessment took maybe 15 minutes.
I guess in about a week I will make another appointment to see Dr. Ehjeh. Maybe my paper work can be submitted to my insurance company. I hope there is no more testing!
