"I met with Dr. Capehart on Tuesday, September 2, 2003. She explained the surgical procedure thoroughly. I was very impressed with her knowledge and sincerity. Also, I was thrilled with the fact that she met with me one on one for about 1 1/2 hours. In addition, she was very straight forward with me. Since I was previously approved for this surgery all she has to do is contact BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS)and provide documentation. I called BCBS on today, 9/3/03 and they stated that Dr. Capehart's office had already contacted them. Her staff is definitely on it. Meanwhile, I have to get a letter from my primary doctor recommending the surgery and I will be having a stress done with a Cardiologist. Hopefully, I will be having surgery as soon as OCTOBER 2003! I am so ready!!!
As for after care you will have to follow up with her regularly for a year and then on a as needed basis. She requires that you see a nutritionist so that you can plan meals after the surgery. At this point, I would higly recommend her as a surgeon."
