2/1/06 SW-333 CW-326 Hi everyone. Well my consult is done. I am in the process of all the tests that have to be done. Along with some extra ones because of my high BMI. I am just excited about the posibilities so going through all of this headache and leg work is worth it. We should be submitting for approval with insurance late next week sometime. Doctor wants me to lose 35# before surgery. Lost 7 so far, so I'm on my way!!! Beginning BMI 60.9 2/9/06 SW-333 CW-322 Found out they submitted the letter for insurance approval on Tuesday. I am so excited--can't wait to hear. Down another 4 pounds. 2/13/06 Received insurance APPROVAL today! I am so excited. 2/14/06 Happy Valentines Day. I got my surgery date today, May 11th. I can't wait. 2/21/06 Still getting all the tests done, on my way to do the treadmill this afternoon. Don't really know what to expect because of the dye being injected but I am sure everything will work out fine. Just another day on my way to a thinner and more healthy me. :-) 3/8/06 SW-333 CW-313 Well I have all my clearances except from the cardiologist. I have an appointment scheduled for Friday and hopefullywill get the clearance then. So all I have to do now is wait and wait and wait. My doctor wanted me to lose 35 pounds before surgery. I'm down 20 so well on my way to May 11th. 3/20/06 Down 27lbs. I have all my clearances. Just waiting for the surgery date to arrive. I will work on losing more before May 11th gets here. I am so excited! 3/27/06 GUESS WHAT??? There was a cancellation and my surgery date has been moved up to this Thursday 3/30/06. It came out of the blue but I AM READY!! 3/31/06 - I'm home. All went well with the surgery. Feeling pretty good, I guess 24 hours and out is pretty good for medial lap bypass. Drinking my water and walking around. My new life has begun. 4/6/06 - SW-333 cw-291 - 1 week post op. Things are still good. Working on getting all the supplements down. This is hard work, but well worth it. The journey has begun. I'm down a total of 42lbs since the beginning of the year (8 lbs post op) 4/12/06 - SW-333 CW-286 down 47 pounds 4/25/06 - SW-333 CW-279 down 54 pounds 5/01/06 - SW-333 CW-270 down 63 pounds 5/09/06 - SW-333 CW-266 down 67 pounds 1/29/07 - SW-333 CW-157 down 176 pounds -- OK so it's been a while since I was here. Got busy living life, but I'm back. Surgery was the best thing I ever did in my life.
