10/16 Danni is out of surgery and was moved into her room at about 11 A.M. She is pretty tired and having quite a bit of gas pain that radiates up to her shoulder. Otherwise, she is doing good. I will be staying with her tonight at the hospital. So I will update you again tomorrow morning. Just wanted to let you all know. 10/17 Thanks everyone for your kind words. I just got home from the hospital this morning. Danni is doing good, but poor thing, last night she itched so bad from the morphine. I was miserable for her - it would have driven me crazy! I am glad I stayed there to help her out - everyone knows I would have done anything for her. At about 2 this morning, she requested that they remove the continuous morphine, but by 3 A.M. she was in so much pain (from the gas radiating up to her shoulder) that she had to go back on it. They also gave her an injection of Toradol and it knocked her out. She needed that. When I was leaving the nurse was there to take the cath out and Danni requested that they remove the morphine because she was still itching so bad. She has a positive attitude though - she said if this is the worse she has to go through then this is nothing. She is doing well and getting up for her walks. She was actually up at 1 P.M. yesterday walking and she did not even get to her room until 11 A.M. Amazing! Neita

Danni!!! Congratulations woman! You are a LOSER! I never thought that word would ever mean anything good. But now I know it does! I pray you will keep in good spirits and recovery wonderfully!

Well I know Neita's really busy so I thought I would post an update on my good friend danni! I thought Lisa and Kristin did well..Man!! I cannot beleive how wonderful Danni is doing. Im not talking just pretty good. Im talking FANFREAKINGTASTIC!! I called her in her room about 1:00 and she was wide awake telling me that it was a piece of cake. I didnt really belive her till I went to visit her after work. Its day one and she's already walked 6 or 7 times now and feeling wonderful. Just a little pain and a bout with the itches. But other than that she just looks beautiful! WELCOME TO THE OTHER SIDE GIRLFRIED. LOVE YA.

Hey Danni,well its your day you are gunna be a "loser" when you wake up.Just think all this just for a thumb size stomach oh what we do to be healthy *lol* Good Luck and GOD BLESS

Im so happy for you. Your day is here! I dont know what I would have done a few times if you hadnt been there to talk to. You deserve this more than anyone I know and I am soooo happy that the time has come. If you ever forget why you are doing what you are doing, look at you three little angels and youll remember. You are going to do so great and I cant wait to see a post from you on the other side!!!!
